Finding Strength in the Waiting
As women of faith, we often find ourselves in seasons of waiting—waiting for answers, waiting for healing, waiting for doors to open or prayers to be fulfilled. These seasons can feel heavy and uncertain, yet they are also opportunities for God to shape our hearts and deepen our trust in Him.
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us: “But those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.”
Waiting doesn’t mean weakness. In fact, it can be one of the strongest acts of faith. Choosing to trust God’s timing instead of rushing ahead teaches us to lean on His strength rather than our own. Every moment of waiting is a chance to remember that God’s plans are greater than anything we could imagine.
So, if you find yourself in a season of pause, take heart. Use this time to draw closer to Him, to rest in His promises, and to let Him prepare you for what’s ahead. Your waiting is not wasted—it’s where your strength is renewed.
Reflection Question:
What is one area of your life where you can choose to trust God’s timing today?
Prayer:
Lord, help me to wait with faith and patience. Strengthen my heart to trust Your timing and remind me that You are always working for my good. Amen.
